PowerShell Remoting Tutorial, Intune Maps, and Randomized Intune Rollouts with Entra ID
Hello again, fellow PowerShell Engineers! There are definitely some good reads and videos this week. I just discovered Andrew Taylor’s Intune Newsletter - a lot of great reads going on over there. Check it out if you haven’t already!
Videos
Andrew sits down with Lucas Allman and Bogdan Calapod to discuss their journeys and PowerShell Security.
From PDQ - “Want to go beyond your local machine with PowerShell? This beginner-friendly walkthrough shows you how to use remote sessions (Enter-PSSession, New-PSSession, and Invoke-Command) to connect to and control remote systems with confidence.”

Start scripting like a pro! – #10 | Structured Relational data storage
https://bartpasmans.tech/start-scripting-like-a-pro-10-structured-relational-data-storage/
In previous blog posts, Bart Pasmons demonstrated how to begin structuring data using JSON. Readers who may have missed that content can review it here: Start Scripting Like a Pro – Part 2.
While JSON offers a straightforward way to organize data, it comes with certain limitations. It does not support relational structuring—meaning there are no cross-references between objects—which makes it difficult to optimize or query efficiently. As datasets grow, this can lead to slower data access.
In this post, Pasmons introduces the fundamentals of setting up a relational database and querying it using PowerShell. As in his earlier blog entries, he uses a user management system as the example scenario.
It’s official - ADCS will support PQC soon!
During the recent Microsoft Windows Server Summit Tanya Jha confirmed the AD product team is actively working on adding PQC support to ADCS. A formal announcement of details and timing is to come.
Intune Maps & Hybrid Endpoints
Have you seen MVP Shehan Perera’s Intune Maps website? It’s a Microsoft Intune click-friendly Infographic created for the Windows Platform. Very cool and useful: https://intunemaps.com/
Shehan also had a great write-up on Hybrid Windows Endpoints, asking the question: A Phase or a Destination? https://www.linkedin.com/feed/update/urn:li:activity:7324943815478251522/
Creating Intune Randomized Rollouts with Entra Group Membership
From Joe Loveless, “In our org, we have around 40k devices. Rolling out policies in the Group Policy days was a little bit easier for us, as we weren’t hitting every device at once (way too many forests). The great thing about Intune, is that we can hit all the devices at once. The bad thing about Intune, is we can hit all devices at once! So the question became, how do we effectively roll out policy to devices and not run into issues?”
A wonderful and interesting read.
