PowerShell Summit 2025 Comes to a Close
I have been watching admiringly in the shadows as the PowerShell Summit went on, doing my part to network with presenters on LinkedIn to learn about all the amazing things they are doing. It had me reflecting on some of the titans of the PowerShell community, and ultimately making this graphic:
So much blue! If you don’t know all of these guys, here is a brief introduction of each:
Jeffrey Snover - “He helped us believe in possibilities.” - He is the creator of PowerShell all the way back in 2003 when it was originally known as “Monad”.
Steve Lee - “He helped us by making the modern PowerShell.” - Steve is the current Program Manager of PowerShell at Microsoft, and has been for many years. He has been an avid communicator regarding PowerShell updates.
Don Jones - “He helped us believe in ourselves.” - Don is the co-author of PowerShell in a Month of Lunches and Be the Master. He is also an avid speaker on the topic of “imposter syndrome” and how to get past it.
Jeff Hicks - “He helped us believe in the power of the shell.” - Jeff is also the co-author of PowerShell in a Month of Lunches, a well known presenter, and author of the Behind the PowerShell Pipeline newsletter.
Doug Finke - “He helped us believe in the power of AI.” - Doug is a 16x Microsoft MVP, YouTuber, and creator of Import-Excel and PowerShell AI.
Andrew Pla - “He helped us believe in each other.” - Andrew is a Microsoft MVP and host of the PowerShell Podcast.
